Cool
Games: As the following
games are clones of other well-known games, you should already be
fairly well-acquainted with them. Even if not, they are intuitive
enough to deal with. Each is a separate download,
so you just download and install whichever ones you take a shine
to.
LTris
Introduction:
LTris
is a clone of Tetris, albeit with slightly nicer graphics (I think so,
anyway). Game play is pretty much the same as the original, though
LTris has a nice optional feature which highlights the path an object
will take on its way down (shown in the image below), which can be a
nice thing when you are not paying that much attention to what you're
doing, or when you are getting a bit stressed out.
![]() Downloading and Installing LTris via APT/Synaptic: To download and install LTris, just type ltris in the Find box of the Synaptic main window, click Install Latest Version, click Execute, and then follow the general procedures you learned in Chapter 10. Running LTris: Once installed, you can run LTris by going to the Main panel menu and selecting Games > More Games > LTris. |

LBreakout2
Introduction:
LBreakout2 is simple
enough game to play, sort of a more mature follow-up to Pong. Game play
is simple (conceptually, anyway): move you paddle horizontally back and
forth to keep the ball bouncing up and down so as to knock down bricks.
Objective: get rid of the bricks.

You won't be able to use your mouse for anything else when playing LBreakout2; this is normal, so don't worry. To quit, just hit the Esc key until the game is gone. |

LMarbles
Introduction:
Unlike
the arcade games LTris and LBreakout2, LMarbles is more of a puzzle
game. Your objective is to move the marbles around so as to create the
pattern shown in the right side of the screen. Sounds easy, but...
